Epoxy is one of the most widely known and used floor coating resins. Probably the best known and most widely used kind of industrial resin flooring, epoxy resin is a thermo-set material that offers the performance and durability of resin flooring and is the optimum resin flooring choice for electrical conductive flooring.
Epoxy Coatings generally consists of one primer coat and 2 or 3 subsequent top coating. Epoxy Primer is a two component solvent-less clear primer coating. Epoxy top coating is a two component 100% solids coating, pigmented if required, to achieve the desired shade as per client’s requirement.
Epoxy Coatings are applied in 2 or 3 layers of thickness ranging from 100 microns upto 500 microns in rough or smooth surfaces.
Epoxy-resin based, for dry or wet conditions, on concrete, cement-coating or steel. Used for instance in the food industry (dairies, soft drinks), textile mills, chemical plants, power stations, refrigeration plants, warehouse, unloading areas, garages, concrete driving surfaces, supermarkets etc.
Characteristics
- Good resistance to abrasion.
- It is stable to water, waste, seawater, dyes, dilute acids, salt.
- solutions, mineral oil and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
- These coatings can be cleaned by steam-hosing.
