Coal Tar Epoxy Screed

It is low solvent epoxy coatings, being non-porous, have good chemical resistance.

For less stringent applications, where high temperature and solvents are not encountered, a lower cost coating is often preferred. Coal tar epoxy coatings fulfil this need provided, of course, that the end user finds the black colour acceptable.

When used adding filler/silica, it forms a screed mortar and membrane layer between parent surface and acid resistant tile/brick lining layer.
